When visionary architect László Toth and his wife Erzsébet flee post-war Europe in 1947 to rebuild their legacy and witness the birth of modern America, their lives are forever changed by a mysterious, wealthy client. Filming took place over a total of 34 days between March 16 and May 5, 2023.

Boring script, awkward editing, terrible pacing, and literally silly PowerPoint transitions. It’s incredibly long but there are still unresolved plot points.

When it comes to architecture films this year, Megalopolis was at least more entertaining. I would be very upset if it won Best Picture over Anora.
