This animated anthology series features original stories set in the worlds of iconic video games. Video games have made a huge leap onto the screen, and we’re celebrating the genre with a closer look at over 50 video game adaptations in film and TV. Clive Standon will reprise his voice role as Demetrius Titus, the protagonist of the video game Space Marine 2. The episode takes place after the events of the game. Featured on Film Junk Podcast: Episode 973: Carry-On (2024). I’ve always wanted a series like this. When I’ve watched cinematic trailers or video game cutscenes, I’ve often thought that some of them would become television highlights. I knew that the creators of Love’s Death and Robots would make another animated anthology series, and I’m glad I was proven right. The Warhammer episode was definitely the highlight for me so far, and I really hope we see more of it in the future. My only complaint is that I need to give more time to certain episodes. There are so many compelling video game stories that this show could delve into and adapt into detailed episodes, the possibilities are very exciting, and I’m glad they’re going for a more raw and adult tone. I’m very pleased with what’s been shown so far and can’t wait to see what’s next. "One Hundred Years of Solitude" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
